When people talk about “having that dog in them,” they usually mean they have a feisty side to themselves there their bite is actually harder than their bark. However, we both know when you and I say we've “got that dog in me," we mean Courage from Courage the Cowardly Dog. The classic creepy Cartoon Network kids television show was more than just entertainment to us. It was a pivotal part of creating who we are today. Courage doesn't get enough credit. He's portrayed as always freaking out and being afraid of everything. But he is actually VERY courageous (hence the name) because he faces all of his fears. He loves his girl, Muriel, and would do anything for her. If that means having to fight off or philosophically blow the minds of the most heinous living demon, then he will do it. So be PROUD that Courage is the dog in you. You're a cute rescued pup with the bravest heart we've ever seen and you aren't afraid to face your fears and let everyone know that you are actually terrified, but you're doing it!! Go you!
